Our Pastor: Faye Taylor
Our pastor has the heart of a servant; constantly looking for ways to give and build up others through ministry. Our pastor provides spiritual support in a variety of ways (counseling, guidance, and training). She leads by example and challenges the congregation in their spiritual growth. God placed a passion for outreach & community service in her heart.
Pastor Taylor was born & raised in Orange New Jersey. She committed her life to God in 1994. She received her local minister’s license through the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas on September 20, 1997. She was ordained with the Fire Baptized Holiness Church of God of the Americas on November 19, 2000. Through God’s calling, Vision of Faith Outreach Ministry was established in February 2013 as an independent church ministry.
Pastor Taylor has an Associate Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management from Gaston College. She has a B.S. in Liberal Studies minoring in Business Administration from Belmont Abbey College. She received a certification in Theology from Liberty University, followed by a certification in Human Resource Management in 2019. In March 2020, she received her master’s degree in human resources management from Capella University. Pastor Taylor’s greatest achievement was surrendering her life to Christ. While she pursued formal education after being called to the ministry, it is through the power of the Holy Spirit and the anointing from God that she has found true success.
As John 3:27 reminds us, “A person can receive only what is given them from heaven.”
The Pastor and her husband Tracy Taylor Sr. have celebrated over 35 years of marriage since their union in 1986. They are proud parents of three children and doting grandparents to two grandchildren. Actively engaged in our community, they embody a commitment to service and compassion.
